Rises with showing up and trying, not with being right. As it rises, she speaks to you more casually — that's the lesson.

Cards

Waiting on your textbook

Decks are built from your actual chapters. Once the PDFs are in, each chapter becomes vocab, kanji, and grammar-pattern cards on a real spaced-repetition schedule — and you review them before they go live.

Talk

Pick a scene

She speaks at your chapter's level. You answer out loud — tap the mic, speak, tap again to stop (or let it stop on its own). Each of your turns gets two marks: content (did you answer what was asked) and form (was the Japanese right).

Your voice

When you tap the mic, your phone's speech recognition turns your voice into text — on Android Chrome that means the audio goes to Google to be transcribed. The tutor only ever sees the text. Voice-journal recordings are stored only in your own private space, and you can turn them off below.

Keep voice-journal recordings
On by default, so you can play back how you said something — to yourself or your professor. Transcripts are kept either way.

Data

It's your data. Take it with you any time.

Also wipe notebook, flags & mistake journal
Off = a full reset keeps them.
